Three years after the official launch of my website, it‘s time for a whole new look! The past months I have been busy redesigning the website completely with the help of my dear friend and photographer Christine Kessler from Los Angeles. And boy has it been worth it!! Last night was a nice closure of the week with an FHM party! I still write my column for FHM (2 years and counting :-)) and I love that magazine to death. The reason why I am so happy to write for them is because growing up as a teenager it was my absolute favorite magazine and I adored their witty style of writing, the gorgeous girls in it, and the types of articles that I now write for them. How cool is that?

The party itself was in the lamest club of Holland, but the FHM-crew is so funny and crazy I always end up having a blast anyway. I really made an effort to make time to support my favorite magazine! Some pics….

More good news, the new sitedesign is on it´s way!
From what I´ve seen it´s looking a lot different from my current site. A change was long overdue so I´m really excited about the prospect of the new sitelaunch! My photoshoots will be divided into a seperate glamour and a fetishsite and I will also be getting a seperate blogsite. All with a new url! Over the years people have had major difficulty spelling my name right. And I can´t blame them, I can hardly spell my own name! So, time for a new, improved, much easier website name. Hooray!

For those of you who follow my microblog on Twitter (http://twitter.com/ancillatilia) it has probably become appearent that I will  be shooting for Playboy U.S.A. Special Editions soon! Seems they like my big rubber collection and we will be shooting some cute latex outfits as well as original Playboy-style. I will keep you updated!

I just got back from Ibiza where I spent a few days for newyears. The weather wasn´t great and the island, as vibrant as it is in summertime, is pretty much dead during the winter. Still nature and the beaches there are absolutely gorgeous and I would love to go back during summer some time! When I arrived back home I got a zillion textmessages and emails with Happy Newsyears wishes which I can not possibly answer one by one, so , if you sent me well-wishes thank you so much and I wish everyone all the love, health and beauty in the world for 2009.

Speaking of beauty, once again I was being a ditz and I booked my ticket in a way that I had a 18hour lay-over in Barcelona. “Luck by bad luck”, I´ve always wanted to see the place and it was the perfect time for me to book a little hotelroom for the night and enjoy the city for the first time in the morning. The city is so incredibly beautiful! People with good taste had already told me many times that it´s one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and they were absolutely right. I mostly walked around the old gothic district (it´s a style of architecture, not a place where goth kids live) and visited the Barcelona cathedral which is really the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. And I´ve seen many beautiful things in my life! The vibe in Barcelona, as far as I could tell on a monday morning, is much more relaxed then in other big european cities If you ever get the chance, try to make it over there!

The election and the cause has gotten a lot of media-attention during the press-release party today so it was a crazy but incredibly fun day today, giving interviews to the press and celebrating with my male counterpart (Noah Valentyn- sexiest male veggie 2008) and last years winners (a known stand-up comedian and a Dutch actress) On the internet the discussion has been lighted about what the pro’s and con’s are of the vegetarian lifestyle, which is exactly what was intended with this election. To grab people’s attention and get them thinking!

I’m keeping this post light and fluffy because I have a suitcase to pack and I’m tipsy and it’s late, but I can’t withhold you a few pics before I’m on my way

Today I had an interview on TMF (Dutch MTV) to talk about the “Awake Animal”  Sexy Vegetarian election. The clip will probably be placed on youtube. (What’s up with people posting crappy videos for which they illegally use my pictures on there, by the way!?)

With me was last years winner of the election, famous Dutch actrice Monique van der Werff. You can still vote for me to win this years election! Please do, to me it’s the only election that actually makes any sense and tries to convey a message that not all vegetarians are dull people who don’t wear deodorant and don’t own a hairbrush.
